Port Royal is an original Robert Trent Jones design situated in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. Redesigned in 2008 and opened in 2009 ,the 6,842 golf course is the home of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf 2009-2010
The World Series of Golf is here each year, so how fun to play it now, watch it on television. Holes 2-5 are average, others grand. A bit expensive for the level of service and care. Restaurant is closed down, which detracts from the round. Hopefully will get new owner.
First. Not cheap!, but nothing in Bermuda is. But playing on a PGA course was on our bucket list. Home to the PGA Grand Slam. The course was exceptional! A great time, a so so round, but filled with a lot of memories. The course was spectacular, especially the back 9. Hole #16 - unforgetable! (hit 3 into the ocean).... more
Recently re-designed, this is the 2nd highest rated course on Bermuda next to The Mid Ocean Club, and much easier to get on to. This is a full blown Championship track, with some magnificent views like the par 3 Twelth, you just have to go there and see it! Not cheap BTW!! But nothing is in Bermuda!!!
Designed by the renowned architect Robert Trent Jones, this par-71, 6,565-yard ocean-side masterpiece is one of the best-known courses in Bermuda. The treacherous cliffs of Whale Bay that line the fairways of the 15th and 16th holes are frequently photographed for the international golf publications.
